Paso Robles is the destination for the AQHA quarter horse all-around horse show.

Paso Robles
Event Center

Nestled just minutes away from the quaint town of Paso Robles, equestrians are greeted with a plethora of amenities, including a vibrant array of restaurants, hotels, and wineries. The Paso Robles Event Center boasts four expansive arenas, three of which are covered, along with a sizable Grandstand arena, offering ample space for show and practice. Each arena is outfitted with quality footing, fencing, lighting, and sound systems. Recent upgrades to the public address system enhance communication throughout the stabling and arena areas. The venue accommodates 454 permanent, secure, and padded stalls, ensuring the safety and comfort of the horses. Additionally, there are 110 RV hook-ups, all equipped with water and sewer connections.

The late George Randolph Hearst Jr., a prominent rancher in North County, played a pivotal role in the development of the Paso Robles Event Center. The Hearst Equestrian Center stands as a testament to his enduring legacy, with Hearst being instrumental in bringing new facilities to the grounds. As the eldest grandson of the renowned William Randolph Hearst, who established the family's media empire and constructed Hearst Castle, George Randolph Hearst Jr.'s contributions were significant. Following his passing in 2012, the addition of another substantial covered arena, known as The Pavilion, further enhances the allure of this exquisite Equestrian Center.
